when a cavity or chip shows up

Kid-friendly fixes

Tooth-colored fillings

We skip metal amalgam and use tooth-colored composite resin, it bonds tightly and blends in. Usually done in a single, short visit.

Pediatric crowns

For teeth that need more than a filling, we use white zirconia crowns on front teeth and stainless-steel crowns on back teeth. Strong, protective, and long-lasting.

Pulp therapy

When decay reaches the nerve of a baby tooth, a pulpotomy ("baby root canal") saves the tooth so it can do its job until the adult tooth comes in.

Space maintainers

If a baby tooth is lost early, a small appliance holds the space open so adult teeth come in straight. Totally removable.

Gentle extractions

If a tooth needs to come out, we make it quick and calm. Your child stays comfortable the whole time.

Sedation available

For multi-tooth treatment or high-anxiety kids, we pair restorative work with in-office sedation administered by our on-site anesthesiologist, no hospital trip required.

but wait, they're just baby teeth?

Why we fix baby teeth.

1

They hurt when they're broken.

Untreated decay causes real pain. Kids who are in pain don't sleep, don't eat, and don't focus in school.

2

They hold space for adult teeth.

Baby teeth are placeholders. Losing them early can cause crowding and orthodontic problems later.

3

Decay doesn't stay put.

An untreated cavity can spread to neighboring teeth, to the adult tooth underneath, or cause infection that affects the whole child.
